Life.....
These last few months are ones that I would really rather forget so I hope you will forgive my lack of posting. My family has unfortunately experienced illness and a very sad bereavement. My dear Father-in-law passed away last week and it has left us all very shocked...
I am hoping to be back in the swing of things very soon so in the meantime I hope you will bear with me until I feel like posting once again. I am still reading and very occasionally posting on all your lovely blogs. It has really helped me to read about other people's everyday life...

P.S I heard the cuckoo for the first time today....it cheered me up no end!

Jane, I'm so sorry to hear your sad news and my thoughts are with you all. Thank you for your message on my blog. I'm being as sensible as I can be, and only doing the bare minimum.
Come back posting when you feel able, but in the meantime be assured that all who read your post will be thinking of you at this sad time.

It is lovely to hear from you again but I am very sorry to hear your sad news. Nothing can take away the sadness at times like this, but with the changing weather comes a lifting of mood, so I hope it helps a little. Clare x

I'm so sorry to hear you news and send you my best wishes across the miles. You posted on my blog late last year, thank you for your lovely comment. My apologies for only just finding you but the arrival of baby number 3 and the onslaught of visitors to Singapore to visit said baby have left very little blogging time.
No doubt you'll be blogging when you feel the time is right and until then, enjoy the escapism of reading other people's blogs.
